  I thnk that areola size, like breast size and shape is very variable....
there are women with small areolas, large areola dn some with no pigmentation
of the areola at all... again a place where the only exposure most women have
to what o ther women look like is  magazines that have models in them ...so
"normal" is not based on what "real" women look like.
