Wendy,
Of Course! I see. I remember how annoying it was to wake up hungry in the
middle of the night in my last trimester of pregnancy. My stomach could not
hold much and I would nee a bowl of cereal by about 2 am. My husband often
got up to keep me company at this time. If he would have known that I would
have known that I could be satisfied with just a bit of water, it would have
been so much less bother and he would have not missed so much sleep.....

His response: stop breastfeeding him when he wakes up. Feed him a
bottle of water instead (he's never had a bottle of anything!) and he'll
stop waking up.
