I stand corrected - there IS such an organism, but no-one is sure what or if
it causes a disease.  Mycoplasma is fairly easy to treat with Erythromycin.
As a Neonatologist we see lots of Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma pneumonias.
Haven't seen (or haven't recognized!) GI problems with this these bugs.
