One way to handle this is to have a family practice doctor.  With the birth
of my first, it was very important to me to have a pediatrician.  Now with my
fourth, I see how wonderful it is to have a doctor who can see the entire
family (no offense to the pediatricians on the list).

In the past, our pediatricians have treated the entire family, such as
writing a prescription for pinworm medication.
