I'm sorry if I'm incorrect about this, but shouldnt' we expect a PhD
candidate (as that is generally what one gets in Biochemisty, not a
doctorate) to generate her own topic of research? She should be
reading the literature associated with her area of interest in order
to determine what needs to be done. I know that my husband is highly
disillusioned with any prospective students who just ask him for a
topic. I've already got plenty of ideas for a PhD if I ever get
around to going to grad school. :-)
I agree we all would like to see more breastfeeding research so that
isn't my quibble with it.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly
are the OTHERS here for?
