Regarding mothers who "hit the wall" at middle of the night feeds in the
hospital, I find that in the hospital where I work, most mothers take a nap
after the lunchtime/midday feeding.  I think this nap not only allows nurses
time to catch up on their charting, but gives the mothers the little boost
they need to get through the night time feeds, as well.  I have no doubt the
day nurses encourage these naps!
