i am sure everyone can tell now my computer was not working for a couple of
days, as i answer posts that are two days old. i took my daughter in to see
the young doctor, she has a had some sort of ugly viral illness for several
days. she is so rarely sick and for such short periods of time, i wanted some
outside evaluation. he told me that he is also working ER at the local
children's hospital, and has seen lots of bad cases of this particular virus.
he seemed very impressed at how well she was doing (she was doing that, i am
at the doctor's office and now i feel great routine). i said, well, she is
still breastfeeding, that's probably well. he agreed, said something like it
can make a big difference, and that was it.
she is six years old. and he wasn't surprised? dang.
