As I sat knee to knee with an LC once in a waiting room, empty except for
staff at the time, I got antsy simply because the chairs were too
uncomfortable. She finally said something like, "Hey, I read about a 'new
position' I want you to try (the Australian hold) and we have a couch in
one of the offices!" She went with me, showed me one or two "new"
positions, and I never once thought that she had any intention of trying to
make me feel as if I shouldn't be nursing anywhere else.
