Yeah, and what if some of that "body fluid" the baby was eating dripped into
the water and got on "innocent bystanders"! Like even little kids might be
exposed to a terribly dangerous "secretion" - YIKES - blood testing for
everyone in the pool! Maybe she should be prosecuted for assault with a
deadly weapon! Endangering public welfare!
So what if the CDC doesn't consider breastmilk to be a hazardous substance?
(Oh, maybe it's different in Canada - is breastmilk more dangerous in Canada
than in US?) Better safe than sorry! I think they've got a real public
health threat going on there!
Cathy Bargar, RN, IBCLC (who was thrown out of a public pool at 8+ months
pregnant, for wearing a long-sleeved dress as sun protection, after a bad
case of sun poisoning. No "street clothes" allowed! Actaully, it was a
nightgown, but hey, this was in the '70s!)
