I need some information about breast calcifications. A woman was told that
she has benign calcifications throughout one breast. Her doctors are
recommending a double mastectomy because they feel that it is a precancerous
situation and that the other breast will become affected soon.

Does anyone have some information or links that may prove to be enlightening?
I have already searched medline and haven't found anything quite right. This
woman has no children, is 36, and was planning pregnancy and breastfeeding
soon.
