This might be of valuable interest to everyone...
Last year a mother I was working with was due with her second child. She
wrote a local city play group newsletter that I would hand out to other
mom's, a great warm loving person. One day when a came to work a note
was in the phone long that "Sue" called. I returned her call right away
expecting to welcome her new child into this world. When she picked up
the phone to say hello her voice was empty, and shaken. I said hi "sue"
Was up? She said Ethan was still born this morning... I started to cry
with a rush of feelings of how I might feel, as I was preg. with my
third myself.I'm crying even when I type this letter to you. Oh "sue" I
said what can I do for you. I'm so sorry to hear this... She told me
what happened with somewhat of a guilty tone in her voice. She felt
guilty in some way as we now we mother's do for whatever goes wrong. I
didn't feel any movement after my water broke I was home and by the time
I arrived at the hospital I had to give birth to a blue baby. Oh, "sue"
how could you have known? What can I do for you? I would like to rent a
pump she said and donate my son's milk to other needy babies in his
name. I lent her the pump rent free and gave her the number of a milk
bank that me, as well as many of my mom's have donated milk to. She
pumped for almost eight month's and donated her son's milk. We have done
two lectures on milk bank's and how to grieve and give.Sorry this was so
long but I think this topic deserves a the whole story... If yoiu would
like the phone number of the milk bank we use please send me a personel
email. I don't want to advertise for this milk bank. Thanks, Melinda
