Jean,
Helen makes an excellent point. The mother's doctors obviously have no
respect for WIC if they fail to accept the baby's weights. Can someone
go to the doctor at the next office visit with a copy of the mother's
records? Can you innocently ask to speak to the person in the doctor's
office who performed a breastfeeding assessment? Who is the office
expert on breastfeeding and what are her/his credentials?

Maybe if the doc saw your extensive notes related to this mother *and*
child, she would begin to have more respect for the task of WIC in this
mother's life.

How dare a doctor make a mother sign a contract to withhold valuable
nutrition from a child and substitute such an inferior product. It
sounds like there have been many judgements made against this family.
They need an advocate.
