Dear Karen-
I'm so glad to have you mention that in your experience, whether or not the
baby has a uvula has been critical. I worked with a baby some years back who
was not feeding well at all. They were calling her failure to thrive. She
was bounced around from doctor to doctor, and I saw her twice, before her tiny
cleft/lack of uvula was picked up. I am sad to say that I was not the one ot
pick it up. A learning experience.
