I have just composed a newspaper article for Breastfeeding
Week/Month (Our governor has proclaimed August as WI BF Month).
The topic is how Dads and Grandmas can support BF. It is 887
words (2 1/2 pages double-spaced). It is for our local paper "Ask
the Expert" column which the dietitians have twice a month. Is
this too long to "send" to Lactnet? If so, and you would like me
to E-mail it directly to you, let me know. Why re-invent the
wheel? Our local coalition decided to concentrate on Dads and
Grandmas this year rather than the Women's Health Issue theme
because that seemed more of a priority in our area. If you use
the article, I would like an appropriate by-line and/or
reference as the author. There are two parts about our local BF
coalition that you could change to be specific to your local
needs. Theresa Gutsch, MS, RD, CLE
