We finally got the green light to do a study on tied frenulum and
breastfeeding problems. If anyone has a protocol on such a study, I
would be interested to hear from you. We have a think-tank meeting next
week with the dept. of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics to begin the
planning stages.
There are also orthodontic issues in tied frenulum so it will be a
multi-dept study. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
You can e-mail me privately.

Watching in horror the reports of the shootings in Colorado. I think
they are missing the point if they are blaming the easy access to
weapons. We live in a country where 80% of the population between the
ages of 18 and 22 are walking around carrying automatic weapons ( army
service in Israel is mandatory for our kids both male and female when
they finish high school), and our murder rates are very low. It is very
scary when your daughter comes home from her first week of basic
training and dumps an M16 or Uzi in your hallway.
Maybe many of the issues we address here about parenting, bonding and
attachment should be examined by the "experts."
