Please excuse the shameless plug but it is on point in this thread.

see what I think is a decent, though by no means exhaustive, collection
of some of the best in breastfeeding help and info books.
I have to agree with those who expressed dissatisfaction with the older
editions of The Womanly Art. As a LLL Leader, I found it somewhat of an
embarassment. I thought it was poorly edited, meandering, and fairly
low on information. The new edition is much stronger, though by no
means the most nuts and bolts oriented book.
