Aaaaah, the little blue book. 20 years ago, it was a chatty little
volume but there were words of wisdom on every page. It was my best
friend in the middle of the night.

It said things like:
You don't need to supplement with formula
Your baby doesn't need water for jaundice
You don't have to wean for mastitis
You don't have to watch the clock
Babies grow at different rates
You don't need to start solids for 4-6 months

I'm continually amazed that I still have to teach these things listed
above that the Womanly Art told me quite accurately 20 years ago.

I liked the warm and reassuring tone twenty years ago. I especially
loved the the personal stories. It is still my first recommendation.
And I still have my first copy.
