CIGNA Health Care has a newsletter, Well-Being. I just got the spring
issue, 1999.
On page 7 it has a short article called Returning to Work-A Guide for Moms
Who Breast-Feed.
The article discusses breastfeeding being best, how it helps to fight off
allergies and illness. States milk can be stored for up to 2 days or in a
freezer for 3 months. (!) Encourages pumping at least twice daily at work.
Encourages partial nursing on returning to work if pumping will not be
possible. At the end of the article, has a reference for LLL, and a phone
number and website information for LLLI.
Encourages talking to health care provider about this. Does not mention
IBCLCs anywhere. Glad to see LLL mentioned, but where are the LCs?
