Hi All,
So far I have not heard from the person who is doing the breastfeeding
study.
I wanted to add my .02 about sensitive nipples. I agree that you must first
rule out any problems be it yeast, latch etc... I am very fair skinned and
have sensitive skin. I have nipple sensitivity during breastfeeding. I
occasionally have eczema but usually not on my nipples. I can't stand the
seat belt across my chest because of the friction I experience while
driving. In the early months of breastfeeding going braless is not
possible. For me, all of this improves as the baby gets older. I am
careful about soaps, laundry detergents and fabric softener. I always wear
flannel breast shields and wear only cotton bras being careful that there is
not a seam that will cause friction.
