Just getting the feeling that maybe this mom doesn't want to go the
"high tech" route or to any thing unusual to her, such as Haberman or
SNS. Just my gut feeling, maybe this would work for her?
1. continue very regular milk expression with hosp grade pump, incl.
breast massage/compression, even herbs if supply falters.
2. let baby learn to feed/become more organized on Avent bottle/nipple
or some other wide-based soft nipple w/ ebm of course
3. Encourage lots of kangaroo care, carefree latching and nursing -
not under stress of "he must feed and take the milk now like it sounds
the team and she are worried about!"
4. transistion to breast with nipple shield when more
awake/alert/organzied/gaining.
