Michelle: hmmmm...this baby's weight gain (bw 9 lbs, 7 mths 14 lbs) is not
that wonderful, but of course it might be just perfect for this baby! It's
good news the baby is (you say) developing and thriving in every other way.
It might be sensible to bf *ad lib*, nights as well as days, and to sit the
baby at the family table, so there is every chance the baby can feel free
to have the solid foods she wants.
A bf-friendly doctor would encourage bf plus continuing to progress with
the solids, and to keep an eye on the baby.
I don't think we can be *sure* there is no problem here - but there's no
need for urgent concern, either.
However, I would want the views of a bf-friendly nutritionist, though, as
well as a bf-friendly doc, to be sure nothing is being missed.
