Hi all,
I'm still on vacation in Maine (where the rain has melted all the snow) but
wanted to update you on the baby with foul stools. I called the mom this
morning, and she told me she couldn't stand it any more. Her family
practice physician felt the baby needed to be on formula as she must be
"allergic" to breastmilk - ugh! Anyway, she put the baby on soy formula and
she's a changed baby according to mom. She's happy, sleeping well, has
normal stools & no more mylecon drops. Oh Well! I supported & praised her
for the 8 weeks she did nurse. She loved it & will nurse again but for now
this is the end of the story.
I appreciate all of your help and a big thank you to all who e-mailed me
privately.
