My husband and I will be relocating to Beaufort, South Carolina this
summer and I was wondering if anyone knew of lactation work that is
going on in that area. I am presently a Public Health Nurse with a
Health Dept. which works with a WIC program and Case Management. I am
interested in doing more with hospital follow-up as I feel we are
missing help needed for nursing mother after they leave the hospital and
go home. Even though they are usually instructed to call if need help
they usually don't, and end up quitting nursing for various reasons. If
anyone can give me some contacts in that area it would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks,
Joan
