Here's my question. She asked me about Fenugeek and Mother's Milk
>Tea. Does she need to do this or will it come back on its own from nursing
>and hydration????Thanks in advance, I admit I have alot to learn.
Jenny, with her sensitive stomach, I would recommend that she drink the
Mother's Milk Tea, trying a cup to see how it sits, then, if all is well,
continuing it as a drink of choice as she re-hydrates.
The fenugreek *might* be an irritant in her healing GI tract. I don't base
this on anything other than my "gut" feeling. (Pun?)
I have known many mothers with a decrease in milk supply with such an
illness who regained their supply with fluids and good nutrition. This was
long before I knew about any specific galatagogues.
Also, oatmeal is reputed to be a galatagogue and would be a good healing food.
