Unfortunately, many HCP use intimidation tactics on their patients and
say things in such a way as to gat the messege across "I'm the
professional here. I know everything and you know nothing". Case in
point, when Johnny had lost weight and I told ped I was cup feeding she
said, "well, he needs a bottle. What are you going to do when he needs 8
oz?"
Anyone with less knowledge would have been bullyed into using a bottle
when cup feeding was a better option and working very well. Just because
she didn't know anything about it, it shouldn't be done?

And that's exactly what it is, Advice. I don't pay my HCPs for advice.
I go to them for HEALTHCARE. Up to date information on maintaining good
HEALTH. Not their opinions on feeding methods or sleeping arrangements.
If I want advise I'll write Ann L*nd*rs, which I don't.

Sorry if this seems hostile but having had just fought my way through the
month of December because of these very issues, I'm unable to keep from
getting heated up.
