Mary, I have found that Bach Rescue Remedy helps my clients to initiate a
MER (let-down), particularly if they are pumping. Rescue Remedy is found
at most health food stores and is safe for mother and baby. She puts 4
drops *under* her tongue before pumping. She can add a second 4 drops for
further MERs.

Another thing that has helped is breast massage, and nipple stimulation
with open flat hand before pumping or after the first MER. This nipple stim
simulates the baby's "flutter suckling" that initiates the MER.

The two above combined have helped most of my clients.
