Marie, I didn't misunderstand at all ... the ob supervisor is a j--- and
has not a clue on what is involved in becoming a LLLL or LC.  Maybe a legal
letter from LLLI  and IBLCE  might put her in her place and convince her it
is a rotten idea.  Law suits sound good.....maybe some thing from the state
board of nursing about letting an aide do teaching that is properly the
province of an RN.  I can think of several ways to get this lady's
attention.  Start with the Bd of Nursing.  What she proposes is risky and
unethical.  Teaching pts is a legal responsibility for nurses.  ANA and
