   I do not want to "blow your bubble" of excitment BUT there are many
difficulties... women in most of the world are not aware of their HIV status -
the techology for testing, as I understand it, is a long way from alowing for
the screening that these preventatives would assist.

    Additionally, technolgy and practice are often worlds apart... I have just
re-read an study from 1989 in which HTLV1+ women's milk was frozen/thawed and
then fed to their infants... at 1 yr the infants remained HTLV1 -..... few
know of these studies and fewer, if any are using this inpractice.

   Similiar studies have been done on HTLVII, these have not even been
published!
