<< My question is:
She called her Ped to tell him she was switching to ABM. He called in a
prescription for a diuretic to dry up her milk. I have never heard of this.
This is a big Peds practice and I hate to think that this is going to be
  common practice now.
  The med was Furosemide. >>

And MY question is: Why was the pediatrician prescribing for the mother? She
is NOT his patient. That's the responsibility of the OB.
