>For those of you looking for ways to involve pediatricians in breastfeeding
>management & support, the American Academy of Pediatrics has announced a new
>program designed to provide resources to pediatricians working with
>breastfeeding mothers. It involves a self assessment, a kit of resources and
>evaluation tools. It's free to AAP members and only involves a one page
>application to be involved. For more information contact: Betty Crose, RN,
>IBCLC, Program Manager at the AAP office 1-800-433-9016 ex 4779 or

That would be Betty Crase (with an "a" in the middle), not Crose, and the
email address likewise is [log in to unmask]
Also, I do not believe Betty is either an R.N. or an IBCLC. She has a
degree in Chemistry and was for many years the director of the Center for
Breastfeeding Information at La Leche League International. Betty is a
wonderful wonderful person!
I do believe that the AAP has been overwhelmed with requests and is no
longer accepting any more pediatrician's offices at the time, but you might
be able to get on a waiting list.
