while your statement is 'right on" ... the problem is the mother who wants
an "explanation" for why their babys feeding pattern has changed... our
reaction
- go with the flow,/ mom though is panicked so we say" growth spurt - go with
the flow: now mom has an "answer" - growth spurt so she can relax and "go with
the flow"

baby's
apparent increased need to feed just because that's what he wants to do -
whatever the calendar says! Babies' wants are exactly the same as their
needs when they are young and dependent on you for love, security, warmth,
comfort..oh, yes, and top-quality nutrition for growth and development,
too. >>
