Boy am I excited!!! Our local news station just did a show about a couple
in so California who have two foster children who are being fed doanted
breastmilk!! They talked about how the two children probably would not have
survived if it wasn;t for the donated breastmilk, and also talked about a
pilot who donates his time to fly the breastmilk to where it needs to go.
They had a short interview with Pauline (what was her last name???) who is
the director of the Mother's Milk Bank. The reporter used many terms such
as "Mother Natures best", the "Miracle of breastmilk", etc. Also they
showed a new mom of twins who has donated over 6000 oz of breastmilk "That's
enough for 2400 feedings!" said the reporter. :)
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! Glad I stayed up to watch the news tonight...
Jay
who can now go to bed in a good mood!
