Dear Lacnetters - In the article  below the authors say :
"With the introduction of supplementary formulas or solid foods the flora
becomes relatively indistiquishable from normal adult flora within 24 hours.
If breast milk were again given exclusively, it would take from two to four
weeks for the intestinal enviroment to return again to a state favoring the
Gram-positive flora."
