Nobody likes nor enjoys have their nose "snogged" - human nature.
Infants don't like it, toddlers don't like it, children don't like it.  Why
heck, even adults don't like it.  I have the hardest time getting adults to
"irrigate" their noses for nasal congestion/allergic rhinitis......it is much
much more effective and natural than all the pills/herbs in the world but they
just won't do it!  It's not "pleasant."  Perhaps if adults had their noses
snogged & irrigated, they would become more oral aversive - not a bad idea now
that I think about it!  <g>
