Well....I dunno. Tea bags? inside breast shells ?  why on earth would
anyone think this is a good treatment for sore and cracked nipples?  Or am
I missing something folksy and traditional?

I saw a mother this week who had been told by her community midwife that
the best treatment for her *extremely* cracked nipple was to wear a breast
shell over it - 'to keep the air circulating round it' . Eh?

Where do these ideas come from?
