I know Carol.  That's my point.  They pierce but don't snip frenulai.
Recently at an area LLL Conference (IN Sunnyvale, CA) a pedy stated in
a CE session that tight frenulai weren't a problem wrt breastfeeding.
There was a collective gasp, and hten he was kindly corrected.

I had ears pierced by one of those accessory shops, and by a
physician.  My daughters were done by Merle Norman, I think.
