When my daughter was tongue-tied(she was a twin). I found the football hold
gave me the most comfort. I could get my nipple back farther in her mouth and
the pain was kept to a minimal. The only thing that hurt worse than feeding
her was when she wanted to nurse for comfort (my daughter was 9 months old
before her surgery). My daughter never had a bottle but she did take a
pacifer(I know not good advice but tell a mom who has a tongue-tied baby
that). That might help, it helped me.
