Hi Beth,
In your own neck of the woods is the answer to your question. MILCA had a
speaker recently, Dr.Mary Kelleher, who talked on wt gain in brfd babies. She
pulled her data from the DARLING study. This was her summary: Weight gain/week
(+/- one standard deviation) in Dewey's study was:
5 - 10 oz for the first month
                5 - 8 oz from 0 - 3 months
                2 1/2 to 4 1/2 oz from 3 to 6 months
                1 - 3 oz from 6 to 12 months
Brfd babies surpass formula babies in the first couple months then they fall
behind especially by 9 - 12 months (girls more than boys), but they catch back
up in the second year.
I hope that helps. contact me if you anything further.
