My eldest daughter was tormented and threatened with bottles after
birth.  My second wasn't because I never allowed a blood stick for
measuring her blood sugar.  Why torture the babies with heel sticks if
they're happy, pink, nursing, warm?   The first lost weight, the
second didn't and she was the one with the peaceful birth and nothing
done to her.
