All of you are joking, but the orginal food groups in the early 1900's DID include butter and fortified margarine as a separate
group and simple sweets as a separate group...for real.

Good thing the old basic four is OUT finally. We had been trying to can it for years. My favorite is the newer Latin, Asian,
Vegetarian, and Meditterean Pyramids (cow's milk doesn't fare well in these!)
