Dear Jack, yes, we do still use theophylline on selected, intractable
asthma patients.  Have 2 in fact, co-managed with a pulmonary specialist.
Carefully titrated, with lots of frequent blood tests.  We use
slobid(TID!).  FYI theophylline is one of the drugs that is potentiated by
diflucan.  (Is that BF related enough?)  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
