dear suzanne,

well, as long as you are not forcing anything into a baby's mouth, you aren't
on my "list" for the week. when a hospital LC causes a good situation to
happen that i know about, i will be the FIRST ONE to post about it. however,
the point of lactnet is to also be able to "share" with others of our
profession the things that cause us to rant.

i have a couple of stories about bad private practice LC advice, but nothing
that has been directly related to a case of mine. and just tonight i heard
more bad news about one of my clients, whose baby is in the nicu (aperts
syndrome). i see constant evidence that a medical background "can be" in
conflict with what i consider the standards of practice of MY profession.

i didn't take this as a personal flame, but as a point of interest to discuss.
