Judy:
I am not going to jump on you... take you in my arms and confort is
more what my reaction is. also thank you for trusting and sharing.
With the older mom's I work with I find that I send some time talking
about life style changes. Judith Schwartz's book Mother Puzzle is excellent
in its addressing the issue of our growing up /w tremendous pressure to DO
something with our lives, BE someone,
have a CAREER like dad, don't sit around like mom did. and then when faced
with being a mother we are caught in trying to come to terms with what we
have focussed our lives on...being like dad, haveing a career, climbing the
ladder and now we are a mother and
how do we mesh ourselves into what we think a mother should be? Often not
knowing what we think or want very trough and certianly could exp[lain the
anger that Robin's mom is having....
'tis fri p.m. and hallah needs to be started....
