I couldn't find this in the archives, but may have done the wrong search.
A WIC client came in and said she'd had an iron test done at her 6 week
check up by OB clinic. She is nursing and admitted to having had two
glasses of wine the day before the test as it was Christmas.
When the clinic got the iron test back they told her to cut back on her
alcohol intake. She's upset since this was her only alcohol intake
since getting pregnant last year. Our WIC Nutritionist asked me
to post this question:
Does Alcohol bind itself to iron?
Answers and References would be appreciated.
