Joann,

Sheila Kitzenger , a childbirth educator , at one time director of the
National Childbirth Trust (GB) anthropologist and guru to many once
described the birth of one of her five children at a seminar that I attended
years ago. She was having a home birth and she described the baby making
crawling attempts to leave her thigh where the baby was placed after birth
and make it's way to the chest wall. This seemed to be the babies natural
tendency awake , alert and on the move to the food source!! No study being
done mother's natural tendency was to assist the baby along the way. She
related this long before the" self attachment " video was available.

Yours had to be a sensation no mother forgets.
