Well, as a kid who was fed evaporated milk, corn syrup and water formula, I
can tell you that even the smell of it makes me gag.  If nutrition made no
difference though, I could live on dairy products.  And, yes, I sensitized
both of the first two kids to dairy, probably from the 1+ gallons (4+
liters) that I drank each day "for the baby's bones."  Quitting milk for my
baby's health was one of the hardest things I have ever done and I am
really, really happy that they are weaned and I am no longer milk free.

I wonder if abm smells and tastes better to a woman who was fed this as an
infant.

There is nothing that I suggest in a trial elimination that brings such
angst and grief as does the elimination of dairy. For some women, dairy
products, in some form, make up 50%+ of their diet. That is poor nutrition.
 And they pass on this over-use to their children, even if they breastfeed
them.

Amniotic fluid tastes like what we eat too, I've read, so this all starts
before birth.
