Mari and all........ Speaking from personal experience, I'm not
convinced that breast shell use during pregnancy does much to improve
flat nipples.  I used "milkcups" almost 23 years ago before my 3rd child
was born.  I still experienced very sore nipples x10days.  I had no
visible soreness, but felt as if I had been deeply bruised.  I did find
the shells helpful, however, in that they kept my bra off my tender
nipples and prevented discomfort that way.  JMO
