My word listserv had a good word a couple days ago, as follows:

welkin (WEL-kin) noun

   1. The vault of heaven; the sky.

   2. The upper air."

I thought of many of us as we   talk about being up on the soapboxes,  when
we feel so strongly about the issues we deal with, and how the air was so
thin up there, so I guess LACTNUTS are

"walkin' in the welkin"

Plus, a special public thanks to our Dr. Jack.   Karen Nelson and I just
got back from Toronto having had a great day hanging out with Jack and Ruth
Bacon, IBCLC, at one of their breastfeeding clinics.  Great experience,
wonderful time.  A good recharge of the internal batteries despite the 6
hour drive!!  Thanks, Jack, for sharing with us!!
