It's always the pediatricians isn't it? Why would novocaine not be
permitted? It will be found in the milk in only tiny amounts. Then ask
this brilliant pediatrician why it is given by injection. One reason is
that, say this slowly, now, "Because it is not absorbed from the gi tract".
If it is not absorbed from the gi tract, then even the small amount that
might appear in the milk will not be absorbed by the baby. So it's okay,
