Hi, Seely!

Congratulations from a fellow Alaskan! I just moved up here in July from
Seattle (the prodigal daughter -- I left in 1982 and came back, even though
I said I never would *sigh*) and of course am now looking into being a
IBCLC; I'm a doula and aspiring midwife; I start nursing school next fall,
but I would like to look into lactation certification because it would be an
excellent adjunct to my work with birthing women.

How does one go about this process up here in Alaska? Are there courses,
or is it distance learning?

I would so much appreciate any input you could give me, as to whether you
think this is something I could/should do.

Thanks much,
